The Czechoslovak Trio Clavio was formed in 2013 with the help of the Polish clarinettist and conductor, Jakub Bokun. Its members — Lucie Soutorová (piano), Lucia Fulka Kopsová (violin) and Jana Černohouzová (clarinet) — are the recipients of a prestigious grant from Yamaha.
As soloists or orchestra members, they have collaborated with the PKF — Prague Philharmonia, the Brno Philharmonic, the Slovak Philharmonic and Slovak Chamber Orchestra. In October 2014 the Trio Clavio was awarded the 1st prize and title of overall winners at the Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf International Competition. They were awarded a prize in June 2016 at the International Chamber Music Competition in Padua, Italy. In the autumn of 2017, the ensemble attended masterclasses by the famous Japanese violinist Midori Goto. Presently, the Trio Clavio is working with leading composers in the Czech contemporary music scene, whose compositions are regularly performed both here and abroad.
At the start of 2018, the ensemble recorded their first CD with music by Igor Stravinsky, Béla Bartók, Paul Schoenfield, Lukáš Hurník, Martin Brunner, Juraj Filas and Sylvie Bodorová (Arco Diva).
