In Pictures: Sold-out fourth chamber concert
The fourth chamber concert of the series was also the last one of the year. A fully packed audience at the Professed House enjoyed a program of three remarkable works.
The Prague Philharmonia Wind Quintet opened the evening with Le tombeau de Couperin by Maurice Ravel. This was followed by a delightful performance of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Piano Quintet in B-flat major, featuring Professor Ivan Klánský.
In the second half, the quintet performed Pictures at an Exhibition, originally a piano suite by Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky, arranged by Joachim Linckelmann.
