6:30 pm Stories from the Arts — the curators of the Lobkowicz Collections tell the enthralling stories of their treasures
7:00 pm Concert in the Imperial Hall
8:15 pm Meeting the artists and orchestra over a glass of wine, with refreshments provided by the Head Chef of the Lobkowicz Palace
Anne Gastinel embodies both tenderness and joyful lightness.
The phenomenal cellist Anne Gastinel entered the prestigious Lyon Conservatoire at just 11 years of age. She studied there under such exceptional teachers as Yo-Yo Ma and Paul Tortelier and has won numerous prizes in major international competitions and attracted widespread attention with her performance at the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. In 1997, she was selected to play for one year a cello from Matteo Goffriller’s famous workshop that once belonged to the legendary cellist Pablo Casals.
Gastinel has appeared with the most prestigious orchestras and great musicians all over the world. She has made many acclaimed recordings including an album of Beethoven’s string trios, honored with the Diapason d’Or and Choc Classica awards.
The subscription for 1 person costs 28,000 CZK (including VAT).
The subscription covers all four concerts, a reserved seat in the hall and entry to all parts of the evening. The subscription is transferable.
By purchasing a subscription, you support the Prague Philharmonia orchestra. We will issue you a donation receipt for part of the subscription cost.
