Balázs Adorján earned his degrees from the Conservatory in Budapest and Győr University in Hungary, with further postgraduate studies at the University of Limerick in Ireland. He has honed his skills in masterclasses under Frans Helmerson and Johannes Goritzki. Adorján's musical expertise covers a wide spectrum, from Baroque to modern compositions. He performs with Prague Modern and FAMA Quartet, groups dedicated to 20th and 21st century music. Additionally, his twelve-year engagement with the viola da gamba has led to collaborations with various early music ensembles, including Motus Harmonicus and the Prague Gamba Consort.
Since 2000, Adorján has been a member of the Prague Philharmonia, holding the position of Assistant Concertmaster in the cello section.
