Enchanted Morning at Rudolfinum: Third Children's Concert Brings Fantasy to Life
At this season's third children's concert, our musicians wove a magical tapestry of dreams with Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik. As the merry melodies played, drowsiness crept in, eyelids grew heavy, and we all drifted into a mysterious dreamland...
Out of the shadows sprang mischievous elves, playful vampires, and whimsical witches. These fantastical creatures danced through our dreams, gradually vanishing to the famous "surprise" of Haydn's Symphony No. 94, the shimmering notes of Debussy's Clair de Lune, and Williams' ethereal theme from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Finally, as the music gently faded, Dan and Magdalena awakened to a beautiful morning.
The young audience was spellbound by this magical musical journey.
Join us in April for more musical adventures as we explore Ludwig van Beethoven and other composers who shaped musical destiny.
