Matthew Newlin's powerful tenor resonates through Lobkowicz Palace
On 31 October, the seventh year of the exclusive Lobkowicz subscription series came to an end at the Lobkowicz Palace. The soloist of the evening was a member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, tenor Matthew Newlin, who shone in works by G. F. Händel and W. A. Mozart. Under the artistic direction of Michal Sedláček, the orchestra played two world premieres by Lukáš Sommer and also performed Niccolo Paganini's Carnival of Venice. At the end of the concert, our listeners enjoyed the beautiful views from the terrace of the Lobkowicz Palace or a tour of the art collections.
