Kostiantyn Tyshko
Kostiantyn Tyshko is a Czech-Ukrainian pianist who graduated from JAMU in Brno (piano class of Prof. J. Jiraský, orchestral conducting class of Prof. R. Hališka). He has attended masterclasses with renowned professors such as Muza Rubackyte, Teresa Dussaut (France), Eduardus Halim (USA), Arkadi Zenziper (Germany), and Alan Weiss (Belgium).
Kostiantyn has graced concert stages in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Ukraine. He is a laureate of international competitions in Lithuania (Muzika be sienu), Ukraine (Horowitz Debut), and Prague (K. Czerny Competition). As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras in Ukraine and the Czech Republic, including Kyiv Camerata, "Seasons" Orchestra, Lviv Philharmonic, Chernihiv Philharmonic, Chernivtsi Philharmonic, Chordata Brno Orchestra, Prague Chamber Philharmonic, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, and Brno Philharmonic.
Kostiantyn Tyshko has recorded works by P. Haas, V. Kosenko, B. Lyatoshynsky, S. Prokofiev, F. Busoni, C. Koechlin, K. Szymanowski, and others for Czech Radio Brno. As a conductor, he has collaborated with the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc and Brno Philharmonic orchestras. He also works with choirs such as Czech Ensemble Baroque and Vox Iuvenalis.
Since 2014, Kostiantyn Tyshko has been serving as an assistant professor at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno (Department of Conducting and Opera Directing). He is also a répétiteur at the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre in Brno. In 2023, he became a permanent guest pianist with the Brno Philharmonic.
In addition to his solo career, Kostiantyn is dedicated to accompanying international conducting masterclasses led by prominent conductors such as M. Sieghart, L. Shambadal, T. Netopil, A. Šach, M. Laycock, and C. Olivieri Monroe.
