Chamber Series in short

Series of concerts by chamber ensembles and PKF — Prague Philharmonia members in the Baroque refectory of the Professed House of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University (MFF UK) at Malostranské náměstí (Lesser Town Square) in Prague on Mondays from 7:30 pm.

The main theme of the 28th season is “women in music”. Women predominate among the performers and at each concert there is always at least one work by a female composer (such as Vítězslava Kaprálová, Clara Schumann, Barbara Strozzi, Otilie Suková and Germaine Tailleferre). The program also includes compositions from the Baroque period interpreted on period musical instruments (including baroque trombone and harpsichord).
