About this cycle
In the 31st season of the Prague Philharmonia orchestra, the Chamber Series has bet on the theme of "the other instruments". We want to highlight the significance of lesser-known and rarely solo-featured instruments. Chamber music belongs to the valuable musical heritage of world culture, and not only other instruments are of fundamental importance to the performer for honing technical perfection. Visitors to the chamber series can look forward to instruments such as bass clarinet, contrabassoon, cor anglais, baroque bassoon, baroque oboe, viola d'amore, harp, as well as tuba, marimba, and guitar.
