Orchestra in a circus tent
Elegant, spirited, charming. This will be the Italian Night with PKF - Prague Philharmonia, a light-hearted project of this leading Czech ensemble, which combines classical music with the unique atmosphere of a summer night.
The performance will take place in the Azyl78 tent, a unique summer stage with a capacity of 500-800 spectators. The tent has been tailor-made by experienced circus masters in Italy.
The hour-long project will feature three pieces by three brilliant 18th and 19th century composers. We begin in Italy: with a sparkling overture to Rossini's opera L'italiana in Algeri. We continue with perhaps the most famous piece of the classical music genre, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's unique Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (Little Night Music). The highlight of the evening will be Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's Symphony No. 4 "Italian", which will amaze you with its energy and beautiful melodies.
The music of this period is the basis of the PKF - Prague Philharmonia repertoire: the art will thus be in the right hands on this evening.
