Lada Ševčíková’s life has been closely connected with music from an early age. She grew up in a family of professional musicians and began playing the violin at the age of five. After graduating from the Prague Conservatory, she continued her studies at the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU). While still a student, she successfully auditioned for Prague Philharmonia, where she has remained a member ever since.
Although classical music is at the heart of her professional life, she also enjoys exploring other genres. In 2015, together with double bassist Eva Šašínková and guitarist Jana Rychterová, she founded the vocal-instrumental trio Pragtet.
Outside music, she is passionate about sport and enjoys going for walks with her husband.
