Václav Fürbach

He holds the position of Principal Bassoon with both Prague Philharmonia and the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK. He previously held the same position with the Brno Philharmonic and the Prague Garrison Band.

He originally studied the clarinet and accordion before taking up the bassoon at the Military Conservatory in Roudnice nad Labem. He subsequently continued his studies at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

Alongside his orchestral career, he is also an active chamber musician and a member of the Prague Philharmonia Wind Quintet and the Juventus Collegium FOK ensemble.
