Kateřina Krejčová

Kateřina Krejčová studied at the Prague Conservatory with Pavel Kudelásek and, as part of the Erasmus programme, at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Peter Schuhmayer. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under Leoš Čepický.

In 2019, she won first prize at the Václav Hudeček Academy in Luhačovice. She regularly participates in masterclasses with Jiří and Jan Fišer, Josef Špaček, and Dalibor Karvay, and has also attended a masterclass with Noah Bendix-Balgley, Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic.

In 2017, she was a member of the Prague Philharmonia Orchestral Academy, followed by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestral Academy from 2018 to 2020. As part of the Side by Side project, she performed alongside the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra at the Prague Spring Festival. In 2019 and 2020, she took part in Václav Hudeček’s concert tours and appeared as a soloist with the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra in Mariánské Lázně.

In the 2021/22 season, she served as Assistant Concertmaster of the Pilsen Philharmonic. Since January 2022, she has been a member of the second violin section of Prague Philharmonia, and since February 2024, also of the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK.
